One of his most famous bayans (sermons) was delivered at Nizamuddin Markaz, the headquarters of Tablighi Jamaat in New Delhi, in 1973. In this bayan, he spoke about the importance of tawheed (monotheism), taqwa (piety), and tazkiyah (purification) for the success of Muslims in this world and the hereafter. He also emphasized the need for Muslims to follow the sunnah (traditions) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and to avoid the fitnah (trials) of shirk (polytheism), bid'ah (innovation), and nifaq (hypocrisy). He urged the listeners to dedicate their lives to the cause of Allah and to strive for His pleasure.
The bayan of Fazle Karim Bhai at Nizamuddin Markaz was recorded and preserved by his son Maulana Ilyas Shaikh, who later narrated it in his own voice.
